What is Rooted?
Rooted is a 10-week spiritual formation experience designed to connect you with God, the church and your purpose in unexpected, life-changing ways
Rooted is a catalyst for life-change. It offers experiences, provokes questions, and fosters real conversations in a small group setting over the course of 10 weeks. You'll meet once a week to discuss what you learned from the week’s homework and delve deeper into what God has been saying. This is often where transformation happens, as group members open up and share personal stories and what they're learning.
The group also shares three experiences together outside of the scheduled group time – all designed to apply what has been learned and discussed. These experiences include prayer, serving those in need, and sharing the story of your faith journey. We hope through these experiences you begin to see God and hear His voice in new and surprising ways, ultimately helping you find yourselves in God’s story.
At the end of 10 weeks there is a celebration dinner for all Rooted graduates, where everyone gets together to share stories of transformation, celebrate water baptisms, and be commissioned to live their purpose.
Who was Rooted designed for?
We want everyone to experience Rooted! No matter where you stand in your relationship with Jesus, there is always room to move forward. Those who have not yet committed their lives to Christ will receive answers to their questions and those who consider themselves Christ-followers will gain new perspective and depth of faith.
What is my time committent?
We must be honest – Rooted is a significant commitment, but anything worth doing involves a certain amount of sacrifice. Rooted is a 10 consecutive week commitment. Five days a week there is homework including daily readings, journaling thoughts on Bible passages and teachings, meditating on Scripture, and writing and praying intimate and personal prayers. If you anticipate missing more than two meetings, plan to sign up for another session of Rooted when your schedule allows full engagement.
How much does it cost?
Financial Cost is $35.00 per participant. Which includes study guide, group materials, childcare for each gathering and the celebration dinner. Partial scholarships are available.
When does Rooted start?
We start Rooted groups 2 times a year, typically in the Spring, and Fall depending on interest! Keep an eye out for the next date if the current session doesn't fit in your schedule.
